[Disclaimer: These words are a lift from an unknown source. Not my own.]

Morpheus' famous lines in The Matrix about the blue pill and the red pill are emblematic of a much deeper and more profound choice that each individual faces in life—the choice between comfortable ignorance and the often unsettling truth. When Morpheus offers Neo the choice between the blue pill and the red pill, he is not just offering two simple objects but two radically different paths of existence.

Morpheus' Words on the Blue Pill

Morpheus says to Neo:

"You take the blue pill—the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill—you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes."

This moment is pivotal because it encapsulates the essence of the human condition: the choice between remaining within the confines of an illusory world, one that is comfortable, familiar, and seemingly safe, or daring to venture into the unknown, where truth, no matter how harsh or challenging, awaits.

The Profound Significance of the Blue Pill

The blue pill symbolizes a choice to remain within the matrix of illusions—a construct of lies, half-truths, and deceptions that create a false sense of security. Those who choose the blue pill willingly accept the reality presented to them, preferring the comfort of ignorance over the potential discomfort of truth. The blue pill represents:

Comfort Over Truth: The blue pill offers a life free from the pain of questioning, of challenging the status quo. It allows one to continue living in a bubble, where difficult truths are avoided, and uncomfortable realities are dismissed. It is the easier path, one where cognitive dissonance is minimized, and the individual can remain in a state of blissful unawareness.

Submission to the Illusion: Taking the blue pill is a form of surrender. It is an acceptance of the narratives imposed by external forces, whether they be societal norms, media influences, or political agendas. It signifies a relinquishing of one's autonomy and a submission to the control of those who construct the illusion.

A Rejection of Growth: Choosing the blue pill is also a rejection of personal and spiritual growth. Growth often comes through facing challenges, through questioning the world around us, and through embracing the unknown. The blue pill, in contrast, is a rejection of this journey—a refusal to grow, to evolve, and to seek a deeper understanding of existence.

Fear of the Unknown: The decision to take the blue pill is often driven by fear—the fear of what lies beyond the veil of illusion. The fear of facing a reality that might be harsh, unforgiving, or profoundly different from the comfortable narrative that has been constructed. This fear paralyzes the individual, keeping them locked in a state of complacency.

Those Who Choose the Blue Pill ...

Individuals who choose the blue pill are often those who are content with the surface level of life. They may fear the disruption of their worldview or the consequences of challenging deeply held beliefs. These individuals may:

Cling to Familiarity: They are drawn to the safety of what is known, what is predictable. They prefer the comfort of routine and the reassurance of societal validation over the uncertainty that comes with questioning the nature of reality.

Avoid Responsibility: The blue pill represents an avoidance of the responsibility that comes with knowledge. To see the world as it truly is requires action, it demands a response. Those who choose the blue pill are often unwilling to take on this responsibility, preferring instead to remain passive observers of life.

Live Within Boundaries: The blue pill takers live within the confines of the system, accepting the limitations imposed upon them. They do not seek to transcend these boundaries, nor do they wish to explore what lies beyond. Their lives are characterized by conformity and adherence to the prescribed narratives.

Reject the Call to Awakening: The choice of the blue pill is a rejection of the call to awakening. It is a refusal to engage in the journey of self-discovery, to explore the deeper mysteries of life, and to seek a higher truth. It is a denial of the spiritual quest that leads to enlightenment.

The Deeper Implications ...

The choice between the blue pill and the red pill is not just a fictional concept; it is a metaphor for the choices we all face in our lives. Do we choose to remain asleep, accepting the comforting lies that we are fed, or do we awaken to the sometimes harsh, yet liberating truth?

In Hermetic philosophy, this choice is akin to the decision to remain bound by the material world, with its illusions and distractions, or to seek the divine truth, which lies beyond the veil of appearances. The blue pill is the path of ignorance, leading to a life lived on the surface, where one is controlled by external forces and never truly knows themselves or the world.

For those who choose the blue pill, life may seem easier, but it is a life lived in shadows, a life where the true light of understanding never penetrates. It is a life of perpetual sleepwalking, where the deeper mysteries of existence remain forever hidden, and where the soul remains trapped in the prison of the matrix.

In conclusion, the blue pill represents more than just a simple choice—it symbolizes the decision to remain in darkness, to accept the illusion, and to reject the profound truth that lies beyond. It is a decision that many make, whether consciously or unconsciously, every day. Yet, for those who dare to take the red pill, who choose to awaken and see the world as it truly is, a path of profound discovery and liberation awaits. The choice is always ours, and in that choice lies the power to shape our reality.

๐…๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ซ ๐…๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ

Deep in the heart of every man lies a pure desire. A desire to provide, to protect, to do well for themselves and those in their care. As we grow in age and wisdom, we come to a point where we can look back and reflect upon the man who raised us. What role did he play? How does his transmission of masculine energy affect us in our daily lives?

For many of us, we had distant fathers. Fathers who worked and toiled with their hands, time, and energy to provide a better life. And yet more often than not, it came at a cost. Distant fathers who often were physically present, yet whose mental and emotional energies were often eaten up during days spent working with others or staring at screens. In their daily homecomings, often their own only place of sanctuary, can we blame them for perhaps desiring space and stillness from the swirl of children and play?

The masculine energies inside us deeply desire stillness, consciousness, and in many cases what can look like solitude. Sadly, in the modern industrious age, many of our fathers either were never given this space, or even had the awareness this was what they were seeking.

Charged with taking care of the family, often they did not have the inner resources or awareness of what it meant to take care of themselves. Ironically, this resulted in similar patterns we find many men and women still acting out today, that of distraction, passive aggressive behavior, and detachment.
Did we learn these patterns from our fathers? Or are these merely the most convenient ways humans cope with the stress of modern age?

In many cases, our fathers’ most intangible gift to the next generation was space and ground to discover things such as emotional intelligence, energy attunement, and the broader needs of what it means to be a human.

Often the deepest wounding for our fathers is not being acknowledged for the challenge and struggle they faced while raising a family. So many fathers go far too long without hearing from the lips of their sons and daughters that what they did made a difference, that it was appreciated, that it mattered.

For many of us, the greatest gift we can offer to our fathers is an invitation that cannot be overlooked. That of forgiving our fathers.

Forgiving them for all the reasons we felt they didn’t do good enough, for all the times they acted in ways that had us feeling scared, confused, and alone. Forgiving them for their confusion and their own unresolved parental woundings, and recognizing how many just did not have the level of shared information, emotional education, and spiritual vocabulary that many us are now privileged to exercise.

Forgiving them for all the ways we now see how they raised us affects our lives, both good and bad, and seeing the heart of a man who in many cases silently struggled with the same with internal dissonance of a capitalistic culture many of us now recognize as foundationally broken and flawed in its approach to human being.

Practically, it may be useful to speak the words, share with siblings and loved ones, or even write a letter which allows the emotion of appreciation and forgiveness to be felt. In fact, for real healing to occur it is often as essential for us to feel these emotions as it is for our fathers.

It is important to note that these emotions don’t have to be happy and that there may never be a resolution. If the wounds are too deep, they’ve already passed on, or the distance between your hearts is simply too great know that this process can be as much for ourselves as it is for our father. As we gift this to our fathers, with no expectation and only reverence for what they did, or tried to do, or even failed to do, we create a clearer space for ourselves and our own daughters and sons.
This process can be confronting and it may take time, especially if our upbringing came with flavors of trauma, as it requires us to take deep personal responsibility for what has happened to us in our lives. This isn’t always fair. What happened, or didn’t happen, isn’t always right. But until we step forward from victim and blame to ownership and empowerment, we will still only be children raising children, instead of men and women raising up ourselves and the next generation towards a shared vision of hope, goodness, and peace.

It's getting close to the 2024 Presidential election. The two dominant party candidates are sitting Vice President Kamala Harris for the Democrats and former President Donald Trump for the Republicans.

As has become the pivotal political point in recent elections, Democracy is at stake. Doomsday, apocalypse level. Depending on whichever candidate you favor, the other one is gonna take us to hell in a handbasket. Some would also say that's where they both will steer the ship of state. Don't ask me to sort that one out. Way above my pay grade.

As you may also have heard, there's a lot of killing going on in the world. Mass scale. Some would call it "genocide". We await the results of a thorough investigation to determine whether that in fact is the case. Rather than argue over genocide or no genocide, let's at least acknowledge that there's a lot of souls being slaughtered. By God's Chosen Ones no less. Oy! I won't try to sort out the history of that ... that would be anti-Semitic.

So it goes on whether the mass dying from war and famine is just an item on the news, or whether this situation is now something that we cannot any longer tolerate, and something must be done. Beyond the haggling over who's right and who's wrong in this carnage.

Recently candidate Harris was at a rally when protesters interrupted ...

The Hill reports:

Demonstrators in the crowd at Harris’s Detroit rally repeatedly shouted out as the vice president spoke to an airplane hangar packed with supporters, “Kamala, Kamala you can’t Hide, we won’t vote for genocide.” The crowd booed and drowned out the protesters with chants of “Kamala.”

“I’m here because we believe in democracy. Everyone’s voice matters, but I am speaking now. I am speaking now,” Harris said to applause.

As protesters continued to interrupt, Harris delivered a more blunt warning.

“You know what, if you want Donald Trump to win then say that. Otherwise I’m speaking,” she said.

I'll leave it to you what to think about that. Hurray for the Girl Boss? Callous slick political poser? Add your own take in the comments section.

Here's a parable:

"Taking Care of the Business at Hand"

I went to pick up a take out Pizza. On the way out of the Pizzeria a man came up to me. He was haggard, in tatters, dirty, emaciated, barely standing. "Hey mister, could you help me get a bite to eat?" Me: "I see your plight, but I have to get home right away so the Pizza doesn't get cold."

The Role of Transmission [of the Primordial State] in the Dzogchen Teaching — Chogyal Namkhai Norbu

From the book Dzogchen: The Self-Perfected State, Chapter 4, "The Importance of Transmission"

I remember how my uncle, who was present at the opening of the tent, returned in tears saying, "I knew him for years and years without ever realizing that he was such a high practitioner!" But many Dzogchen practitioners are like that, simple people, who, even if they show no external sign of it, possess real knowledge.

The Body of Light is the supreme realization of Dzogchen. Its function is different from that of a Sambhogakaya manifestation, because a being in a Body of Light can communicate and actively help other beings. It is as if the physical body, its material substance having been absorbed into its luminous essence, continues to live as an aggregation of the elements in their subtle aspect. Manifestations of the Sambhogakaya, on the other hand, are passive, because they depend on the beings who enjoy the vision of them.

Realization is not something one can construct, and does not depend on one's actions or effort. Becoming realized basically means just overcoming one's provisional obstacles, and to this end, the transmission from one's master is of the greatest help. In Dzogchen, the path to overcoming obstacles can be very rapid because, through the transmission, one can easily develop the state of contemplation. From our limited point of view, we can get discouraged thinking that to purify our karma will take many lifetimes. If we could actually, in a material way, see our accumulated karma, the good karma might seem like a small rock compared to a huge mountain of negative karma. How long would it take to purify all that? It might seem that even hundreds of purification practices would only diminish the mountain of our negative karma by no more than the length of a finger.

But karma is not, in fact, a material accumulation, and does not depend on externals; rather, its power to condition us depends on the obstacles that impede our knowledge. If we compare our karma and the ignorance that creates it to a dark room, knowledge of the primordial state would be like a lamp, which, when lit in the room, at once causes the darkness to disappear, enlightening everything. In the same way, if one has the presence of the primordial state, one can overcome all hindrances in an instant.

A practitioner who is just beginning to try to find the state of presence among the confusion of all of their thoughts is like a blind person trying to push a thread through the eye of a needle. The master is like someone who sees and helps that person to get their hands closer to where they need to be. When the blind person succeeds in threading the needle, it is as if their sight had returned to them. This is how it is when one recognizes and enters into the primordial state by means of the transmission.

The example of the sky, the sun, and clouds is given to explain the condition of the individual. The sky is not a definable place; it has no shape or color, and no one can say where it starts or finishes. It is something universal, as is the primordial state of the individual, the void. The base, at the level of the individual, is like the space inside a clay vase, which, even though it is temporarily limited by the shape of the vase, is not different from the space outside, surrounding the vase. This void condition, which is like empty space, is called the essence, and it is beyond all concepts. But in it, there is a continuous clarity that manifests in the individual's thoughts and the various aspects of energy; this clarity is the state of presence, which is like the sun arising in the sky.

The light of the sun is the manifestation of the clarity of the sky, and the sky is the basic condition necessary for the manifestation of the sun's light. So, too, in the sky, two, three, four, or any number of suns could arise; but the sky always remains indivisibly one sky. Similarly, every individual's state of presence is unique and distinct, but the void nature of the individual is universal, and common to all beings.

Lastly, we have the example of clouds, which represent the provisional hindrances that impede the manifestation of our primordial state. When clouds grow dense, it is as if the sun did not exist, but the fact is that the sun has not changed its position at all. Both day and night, the sun is always there, but its rays don't always light up the earth. In the same way, the primordial state of knowledge is always there in the individual right from the beginning, whether one transmigrates or is enlightened, but if it does not manifest, it is because of our ignorance.

Enlightenment, or nirvana, is nothing other than the state beyond all obstacles, in the same way that from the peak of a very high mountain one always sees the sun. Nirvana is not a paradise or some special place of happiness, but is in fact the condition beyond all dualistic concepts, including those of happiness and suffering.

When all our obstacles have been overcome, and we find ourselves in a state of total presence, the wisdom of enlightenment manifests spontaneously without limits, just like the infinite rays of the sun. The clouds have dissolved, and the sun is finally free to shine once again.

As you may have surmised from the daily news the Middle East is a powder keg. The diplomacy coming from Western and nearby governments to avert a disaster is full on. Daily we hear reports that caution is being strongly advised. That it's urgently necessary to come to the negotiating table.

For how many weeks [months?] have we been seeing the news that there's also a humanitarian disaster "imminent" in Gaza. Imminent. Unfolding. Really. How close to real do you have to get? Per Mr. Bob Dylan: "How many deaths will it take 'till we know that too many people have died?"

All that notwithstanding, and lovely posturing handwringing aside, the USA is all in behind Israel; and, whatever they want to do. No matter what. Unconditionally*. Like parents who are all behind their off the hook teenager, spoiling them no matter how or howsoever they run amok. Even when they drive them off a cliff. Well, on the way down they may protest; but lovingly. Careful not to offend. These days it's called letting them learn by their own mistakes. Born saints, must be. I knew a Mom in a spiritual group who would look for jewels in her baby's poop.

What?

What, what?

* Yet, if you pay attention to history, the good old US of A has a pretty consistently solid track record of reneging on its promises. Israel lobby aside, the pols aren't gonna support anything if they can't get votes for it. How many protesters will it take before branding them anti-Semites will no longer play? And, what amount of financial input from lobbyists does it take to convince the hoi polloi that it's raining when they see your dick splashing on their head?

The question is this:

Background: The southern United States border seems to be out of control. Admittedly, from day one I have not had it explained to me what the plan there might be. Mostly, it's the high dudgeon of the loyal opposition saying that it's out of control. A crisis!!! Candidate Trump keeps harping on how the worst of the worst from around the world have entered over the southern border. Funny, since his detractors label him the worst of the worst. Takes one to know one? Whatever your politics, it does seem to be fubar.

That's the border. So, to the question ... so the folks managing the border are the same ones keeping a lid on in the Middle East? What could go wrong? Gonna keep us out of WWIII? Juggling the Ukraine/Russia thing on the side at the same time? Neocon at birth?

Don't forget them's the same ones who keep poking the Russian Bear that got us in that "unprovoked" proxy war. Like there's gonna be some final victory? And Russia will go back to making those stacking Matryoshka dolls, and Vodka.

My people on the scene think not. You can only go so far with controlling propaganda narrative. Sometimes facts confuse the story.

It definitely is a multi-polar world — do I need to point out how multi-cultural and multi-sexual is the thing now in the US of A? So too, concerning the world order — but the folks who are in charge of that dominating entity on the North American continent seem on the global level to still hold on to the notion that we're the world's B.M.O.C. And, Divinely instituted as such to boot. "Indispensable." Other than that's the pushed narrative, where is that written that that's so? We citizens buy it because it's good to be in the in crowd. On top.

Let's negotiate. Who isn't for that? It has been pretty well documented by my reading that that Uber Mensch Bibi Netanyahu and his cronies don't even want to negotiate. Reports that getting all the Palestinians out of Palestine is not only a good idea, but the idea; and, by any means necessary. Heard it's only world opinion that keeps them from leveling the whole shebang, and "getting the job done". Maybe take some notes from Brother Adolf on ways and means; he set the bar good and high. Oh, wait! This just in: report is that Hitler in fact didn't want to exterminate the Jews, but a Muslin talked him into it. Don't blame me. It's out there. Supposedly out of Netanyahu's own mouth. Some horse, huh?

After some digging we may have an insight into what's in the minds of the so-called leaders of the State of Israel. Besides, of course, thinking those darn Palestinians are the scum of the Earth. And, you know, just like all those Palestinians, since they voted for Hamas, they are all Hamas supporters; and, by the same token, some large portion of the Israeli public shares the sentiments of its leaders regarding the Palestinian "solution". That there, that's not a surmise; it's been documented in polling. In short, it's not just Bibi paddling that boat. And, how interesting that if you disagree somehow that's "anti-Semitic". Never mind that you see down shit's creek and that handbasket isn't gonna make the trip. Hold on to you yamulkes!

When a Semite is right ... right as rain ... then who can object? Seems the worldwide esteemed Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson has declared that Bibi will be the one to hand over the keys to Mashiak. So now maybe you can understand how the gentleman is so eager to get the job done. It's a historical, once ever historical high point to witness a leader whose ideas about things to do happen to align with God's. With what seems to be an unlimited bank account. And, a taste for blood; the younger the better.

My take, the situation will become such a clusterfuck wet shit of a complete unfixable mess that the Savior will have to come. Meanwhile, while we have a few days left perhaps we can argue to high heaven the point over whether this will be His second time on the planet, or his first. And, His gender preference.

Folks, we may indeed be in End Times. Heck, there are plenty of Evangelical Christians solidly behind a big kerfuffel in the Middle East as part of the advent of the apocalypse ushering the wonderful rapture of God's Children on toward the Promised Land. Then, for good measure, there's the supposed leverage of the so-called Jewish lobby, which can account for the recent 58 standing ovations for Bibi in the Halls of Congress. The pols pretty much demonstrated that they're bought and paid for behind Israel's "right to defend itself". And, certainly, with the do-re-me to fund their reelections. Per Mr Dylan again, "Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'till he knows that too many people have died?". And, leaders wake up and do the right thing. Even Donald Trump, on the Ukraine/Russia war said it's about stopping the killing. Thank you 45, killing is not political.

And, by the way, if you have some concern over so-called genocide ... relax. Chill! The leading voices from strict rabbinical sects assure us that the Palestinians are less than human anyway. To be used as the Chosen Ones see fit. As a "Goy" — a term I find deeply offensive — what does the Old Testament say to do with the likes of me? I'm reading that the strict take is that non-Jews also don't have any status other than being "useful idiots".

And, don't be fooled, those five Red Heifers, they're not for Schwarma. Read up on that. This shit be real. Full on. No bluffing.

God's Will be done! Actually, it is. Always. Just that we tend to muck it up with our own ideas of what that might be. And, the mendacity to front God when it's our small, self-cherishing notions that are undercurrent.

What say you? There's a comment section below ...

And, please, no anti-Semite mud slinging. This wrant is anti for sure. Actually, it's pro Semite. Real Semites. A beard does not make a Jew. And, folded hands don't make a saint.

A recollection. I once travelled in 1970 as a tourist to Lebanon. Beirut. Part of an arround the world trip with stops in London, Munich, Hong Kong, and Bali. We hired a driver for a day trip. Along the way in Beirut we passed a Palestinian refugee camp. Rough poles with barbed wire. Shanty town squalor. Our driver, Mr. George Deeb commented on how those Palestinians were a bunch of lazy bums. That on a line for a job if he offered for them to go ahead of him they'd refuse. It struck me how that was the racist trope for Negroes back in the day. I'm wondering if the Muslim world in general doesn't have much love for the Palestinians. I didn't get what faith, if any Mr. Deeb professed. There are a lot of Christians in Lebanon. And, a lot of racist Christians too. He did teach us that "Habibi" and "Habibti" are terms for "sweetheart", "my dear"; male and female. Interesting, now we're talking about that sweetheart Bibi Netanyahu. Who knew.

"Imagine what can be, unburdened by what has been."

I'm sold! Sounds awesome don’t it? A vision, stated by a visionary. We can stop thinking! Oh, joy!

Other such, loaded with wonderful meanings ...

"We're American Airlines ... doing what we do best." "Double your pleasure, double your fun ... Doublemint gum." "Coke adds life!" "Diamonds are forever." "Just do it!" "Disneyland: the Happiest Place On Earth." "Apple: Think Different."

The captions of our lives.

Well, those "unburdened" words ... what are they really? Show me the beef! For my money they're mostly about convincing you that there’s a vision, and spoken by a visionary. The communication itself, what it actually means, who knows?

Maybe that's the gambit. It is open to whatever interpretation the listener gets. Never mind that there are listeners so polluted and awash with narrative propaganda that they no longer think for themselves, but pick up like Chickens the kernels tossed in the coop.

And, if you happen to like the speaker — even if it's on account of that they're not the other guy — then the speaking makes sense, and is meaningful. Or, at least, positive. A sure fire vote getter. Who wrote "A Nation of Sheep"?

For my money the only positive is that yet another pol is trying to come off as substantive. That is, the appearance of substance. Oh joy! Who was it that said perception is reality. But, who was it who said, "The world is as you see it". Big diff on where the onus goes between those two statements. The latter, you are responsible for how you see the world. The former, the world is given to you. Which standard do you want to live by?

Show me the beef!

Maybe after so many fast food burgers we've become accustomed to that's what junk passes for what a burger should be. What do they say about a lie repeated?

The thing is, when you’re truly unburdened by what has been, what's there? Nuttin'. Your imagination is indeed free. Your mind free. Nothing. Blank slate. Actually, for anyone that's a good thing. When your mind is empty, like Brother Aristotle, you don't know shit. Not that you can't draw on known shit, but not knowing gives a fresh view. Uncluttered. Tathagatagarbha, they call it. Look it up. Clear. Luminous. Empty. Unimpeded. Also know widely as "Ordinary Mind".

Politically, what we have competing are extraordinary minds. Who was it that said, "All knowledge is ignorance"? To understand that you can ponder the distinction between "knowledge" and "knowing". The former encompasses labels and terms about. The latter, directly appercieving the thing in itself. Like you can know all about Gravity as a concept, but don't have a clue how it operates on your body as a percept. As a directly sensed fact. Slightly off topic, but if you would pay attention to the signals Gravity is offering you in this moment, you'd come smack dab up against the imblances accumulated over time due to the slings and arrows of experience(s).

Would that we would vote for such a candidate. One with a clear head. Willing to look anew. Because, folks, the same old, same old being peddled is speeding us down the proverbial shit creek in a hand basket. We're in shit creek, but the vehicle is the choice. We're voting for who's hand basket is better decorated. Think about that.

Again, repeating: Just because you have an empty mind, don't mean you don't have nuttin' to go on. It's like this. Like a painter who comes to a blank canvas with an empty palette. As opposed to one who has a set
of colors already spread. The former has options. Can choose which colors fit the picture. The latter is clearly limited. An empty mind doesn't mean you're a dummy. The dummy is the one with all the ideas. Chew on that, why don't you.

Or like a fly fisherman who goes out to the stream with only one lure. The proper tack to tackle the job is to go with an assortment, determine which flies are biting, then use that one to catch the fish. Kapische, Italiane?

The question is, however, just what then informs your vision? With that empty mind. You're unburdened. Wonderful. So, what you got to go on? If you’re empty?

The Lord is my Shepherd. It's called that "Come to Jesus Moment". And don't get all in a bunch with the Christian reference. Same goes for Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Jainism, Hinduism. It's the same core "ISM" in all. "WHAT IS." What is that? Yes, it is.

What we're seeing in that wise-A utterance is empty of meaning. Just a veneer of wisdom and hope. For some, that may be enough. Some others, check out on hearing such vapidity and narrative propagandizing.

We're living in a culture of nihilism, where meaning and value are whatever you may personally choose. Nothing higher than my own self-cherishing notions and desires. Go ahead, be that way. Never mind the vast libraries of testaments to the contrary. The one thing about Truth is, that it's True. No need to be interpreted. Just plain to see; and seen, self-evident.

Beware one who is telling the truth. "Priests and Politicians: The Mafia of the Soul" is well worth reading.

Where do you stand, Bunkie? Remember, wherever you go ... there you are.

This just in ... the campaign 2024 buzzword you won't get enough hearing. Hearing so persistently often, you'll believe it too.

Heck, one man's garbage, is another man's Prune Danish.

The French. Shouldn't probably put them in charge of anything. [Not my idea. But, maybe right.] They do have the philosophical bent, don't they; go in for symbolism, big time. And, apparently, don't mind trotting it out for the world to see. As seen in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

At a point in my life when the inner struggle was raging, and I was short on certainties, a neighbor chided me for having such firm views ... "It's a loosey goosey world". I've pondered that phrase a long while, still do. So dismissive. Now we have a name for it, "Post Modern Relativism" ... or, man-on-the-street short form, "Whatever". Having been raised with the Golden Rule and the 10 Commandments, the secular God-Is-Dead world has been — ahem — challenging.

So we had those bookend opening and closing shows for the Paris 2024 Olympics, loaded with enough symbolism to even confuse Foucault.

The big scene from the Paris Olympics opening was the LBGTQ+ [Did I get the acronym right; don't want to offend?] tableau around that long banquet table. By the way you know that the organizers of the event went all in for inclusivity. Bent over backwards, you might say. Break dancing competition. Which I like; seems logical since it's athletic and competitive. But, one wonders in our Brave New World when pulling a train of dicks will become an event. And, you bigoted-racist-throwback-non-woke-nincompoop-mofo you, not just a natural born female at the receiving end like in the old days with fluffers and Super8 cameras. Imagine the permutations. Talk about a gender identity test for that widely popular event! Let's not even get into scoring variables.

What's all the fuss with that opening? The controversial opening scene from the Paris 2024 Olympics they say was meant to depict a Dionysian festival, reminicent of ancient Greece and the original Olympic athletic gatherings back in the day when the gods ruled. Plain to see. Was that blue man who showed up at one point in the center of the table the meal? Of course he is, if that's the way you wanna see it. And, if you think that's crude, something must be dreadfully wrong with you! It's 2024. GET WOKE! Time flies. Not soon hence and later, maybe by 2028 it'll be ... GET WOKE! OR DIE! As in, we don't have any room for anyone who disagrees with us. The spirit of that is already in the air. We shall see ...

The vocal outrage from the LGBTQ+ sector over how anyone could mistake that for even a scintilla of reference to the Last Supper has been widely gone over back and forth. Net, net, enough folks took it to be a Last Supper reference that it surely should've occurred to someone in the planning stages that it might be taken that way. Yet, they later apologized saying no offense was intended. So, Bunkie, just what indeed was intended?

Some folks of my ken in the LGBTQ+ demo can't even understand how anyone could take that Last Supper reference. Even with the "halo" on the head of the central figure? Virgin Mother diadem? And, the similar grouping of actors at long table? No! Impossible. You're seeing things. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Dead wrong.

Interesting how that crowd is so committed to having their voice and identity included, yet seems to exclude even the possibility that anyone would have the sensibility to interpret that depiction otherwise, and as blasphemous. Or, any opinion other than their own? Like we're talking about some eternal natural laws here? The science on being "gay" at birth is not even in. But, in the zeitgeist, when science can be used in argument, for sure. If not, never mind. Enough loud voices, that's what rules in our post-reality world.

So you wanna to have it both ways? Okay, so you want your views to be recognized? Fine, I'm for it. As far as it goes. My core criticism and concern is that the question of identity seems to only be about what you got down there, and whether you like it that way, and what you do with it, and what you call it. I wrote on that before. Just to reiterate, the question Who Am I? is too valuable and essential to be left simply with an answer that ends with an au courant label. Or, choices in makeup and attire.

You want your views recognized? But, you don't want to recognize other views? How does that work? It doesn't. Well, it do, but only in a totalitarian context where one voice prevails over the exclusion and expulsion of anything to the contrary. Is that where we're inadvertently going? Going into Baghdad again. Without a clue about next steps? Seems science hubris rules the day. As in, don't worry about unforeseen and unintended consequences, science will find the way forward. Or, we're just smart enough to get ourselves out of any pickle. [And, don't tell me about Pickles ... I'm Polish.] Careful to usurp the gods; and certainly not The One God.

It seems to be coming. That mob rules, personified in some bogeyman persona. But, beware the ones pointing to the bogeyman; the one's all solemnly wrapped in the flag, taking a knee with Kente cloth around their necks. It's 2024, the bogeyman don't look like he used to. Beware.

Here's how you have some fun with the Last Supper ...

I've been thinking the energies developing in these times are the same for all. The distinction is in how we relate. Some, as this from Brian Piergrossi so beautifully and eloquently puts it. Others, in resistance and acting that inner turmoil out. The latter seems to make all the news. We all and each have a choice ...

On the surface of the world right now
there is war and violence and things seem dark.
But calmly and quietly, at the same time,
something else is happening underground
An Inner Revolution is taking place
and certain Individuals are
being called to a higher Light.
It is a silent Revolution.
From the Inside out. From the ground up.
This is a Global operation.
A Spiritual Conspiracy.
There are sleeper cells
in every nation on the planet.
You wont see us on the T.V.
You wont read about us in the newspaper
You wont hear about us on the radio
We don't seek any glory
We don't wear any uniform
We come in all shapes and sizes,
colors and styles
Most of us work anonymously
We are quietly working behind the scenes
in every country and culture of the world
Cities big and small, mountains and valleys,
in farms and villages, tribes and remote islands
You could pass by one of us
on the street and not even notice
We go undercover
We remain behind the scenes
It is of no concern to us
who takes the final credit
But simply that the work gets done
Occasionally we spot each other in the street
We give a quiet nod
and continue on our way
During the day many of us
pretend we have normal jobs
But behind the false storefront at night
is where the real work takes a place
Some call us the Conscious Army
We are slowly creating a new world
with the power of our minds and hearts
We follow, with passion and joy
Our orders come from the Central Spiritual Intelligence
We are dropping soft, secret love bombs
when no one is looking
Poems ~ Hugs ~ Music ~ Photography ~
Movies ~ Kind words ~
Smiles ~ Meditation and prayer ~ Dance ~
Social activism ~ Websites
Blogs ~ Random acts of kindness...
Releasing grudges, letting go of judgments..
We each express ourselves
in our own unique ways
with our own unique gifts and talents
Be the change you want to see in the world
That is the motto that fills our hearts
We know it is the only way
real transformation takes place
We know that quietly and humbly
we have the power of all the oceans combined
Our work is slow and meticulous
Like the formation of mountains
It is not even visible at first glance
And yet with it entire tectonic plates
shall be moved in the centuries to come
Love is the new religion of the 21st century
You don't have to be a highly educated person
Or have any exceptional knowledge
to understand it
It comes from the Intelligence of the Heart
Embedded in the timeless evolutionary pulse of all human beings
Be the change you want to see in the world
Nobody else can do it for you
We are now Recruiting
Perhaps you will join us
Or already have.
All are welcome
The door is open.

Excerpt from 'The Book of Listening', Jean Klein

“In accepting the sensation of the body—accepting, not tolerating—the various sensations can come fully into our acceptance, our awareness. You feel the agitation of the body. You are all sensation. There is no psychological commentary. There is not a feeler, nothing felt. There is only feeling. The sensation, the weight, the agitation, etc., then become really articulated.

“It is very important that this articulation occurs, otherwise, all the sensations are lumped together in one mass and remain unconscious, i.e., residues. Once a sensation has fully blossomed in your awareness, you can let it go, and what remains is only the acceptance, the awareness, the light. This lightness, acceptance, is not localized in the head. It is not localized anywhere.

“Once the perception has unfolded in awareness, energy is liberated and dissolves in light. This light, energy, is spontaneously felt on all levels of our phenomenal being. We spontaneously become aware of a new body-feeling, a feeling of energy, light, space, emptiness, expansion. This body is the real body, the organic body. This is the body which carries the qualities of its source and is the true expression of its source: light. This body is eminently lovable […]

“When you have once felt the organic light body, its feeling will return to you often, because it is older than any conditioned body. It is your original body. The cells have an ancient organic memory of their perfect state. So it is important when you have once felt it, not to return to the old patterns. Sustain it. Remember it in all situations in daily life.

“For one who is fully established in Truth, there is no going back. But to be established means that the insight is fully transposed on all levels of existence. Someone who has not fully explored the transposition on the body-mind level, even though the insight is real, may well be taken again by the body-mind. For the fully established one, the body-mind is Truth because it is a perfect expression of truth. Only such a one knows what the “temple of God” means. Take care of your temple!”

Fighting the Devil

There's some devil in all of us. Wronski ... for sure!

We find ourselves living in "interesting" times. No?

Major wars. One as we speak threatening to ignite into a major clusterfuck with the entire Middle East region in play; if not broader, given that the US of A is gonna applaud and support the Zionist entity in whatever — read ... whatever! — it does. And, what that brat teen bunch the so-called leaders of the State of Israel seems to want to do is to have a big dustup with Iran. Some Jews you turned out to be! And, all this in the name of welcoming the redemption of Mashiach! Oy!

Alas, that sincere and earnest boychick on a soapbox in the city isn't likely to get any media exposure from the mainstream media. Alas indeed. He speaks true. But truth seems to be in short supply. Unless the one you like to follow you have it that whatever they say is true. I think the term for that is "narrative control". And, "confirmation bias". You bin propagandized, bunkie!

The 2024 Presidential election. A choice between the devil incarnate and the DEI-check-the-boxes clown devil. The stakes, of course, being the end of civilization according to either of the principal players talks. I hate that other one so much I'm holding my nose and voting for the other one. Some choice. Does that mean we're fucked no matter how we vote?

Let's see, what else?

Ecocide seems to be creeping upon us. Things are heating up too. Mendacity, chicanery, foolishness, stupidity — to name a few — among the ruling elite. Vapidity, foolery, irrelevance, frivolous distraction from the entertainment industry. Culture wars with identity centered on how you dress and/or what you like to do with your nasty bits. As opposed to identity vis-a-vis that we're all Children of God. Pronoun education classes. Insanity passing as sanity.

Then you can add whatever shitstorm is going on in your personal life. All the concerns over this, that and whatever. The big questions ... what do I want on my Pizza? Where's the best manicure in town?

And, the really big important one ... What's with Ben and Jen? Will they, or won't they? And, let's not overlook Taylor and Travis [Tayvis? Travlor? Tayce?]

Geez! It's all such a puzzlement. A devilment.

So ... now, enter the devil.

One thing, and one thing only you have to know about our buddy Satan. He [Please, Lucifer, don't be offended with my choice of pronouns.] that mofo will always keep trying, and he will never give up.

Repeat ... the devil will always keep trying, and will never give up. Totally unrestrained. And, unforgivable.

The lesson being ... when you fight with the devil you can never win. He's got ya. He will not stop, or give up. Never. Yet, we fight with the devil. So easily tempted. Heck, read the news; big temptation(s).

But, we can stop. How?

How do we fight with the devil. The world stage is full of actors who are as we speak acting like the devil, doing his bidding. But, what about you and me? If we're not ourselves actually out and about doing devilishness, we all fight with the devil simply by engaging ourselves mentally with the conflicts. Enthralled with his chaos. The mishegas in the news is a great temptation to get involved. In our own minds, with arguments on social media. Worrying. Churning over in our minds what's what. That's the devil. Devilment. As the Zen type put it ... We're serving tea to our monkey. Monkey mind, that is.

Good news! We have choice.

The thing is, we're grappling with the devil simply just by entertaining the very troublesomeness of things. Mentally. Then, maybe even taking it out for a spin and arguing over it.

I know, I know. Things seem really fucked, and you just have to get involved. But, do you? Take care of what you can take care of. For sure. But, what's stewing over things, arguing points for and against ... what's that gonna get you? Being right? Sorting out the duality of right from wrong; praise or blame. So what. Like I said, the devil is only about getting you tangled up.

So ... don't. It is really that simple. But, first learn to stop pulling the devil's dick. It's a habit. Be patient. Let go. Let go. Then, let go again. The less you pull on it, the softer it gets. Until, at last, it slithers away on it's own. The devil is not stupid. He don't waste no time when there's no time for him. Get him behind you.

"What's puzzlin' you is the nature of my game."

"My advice, don’t be a Buddhist. In the end it’s all about personal gain,
fame and business.

"Just be a person with a good heart, that’s the meaning of a truthful Dharma practitioner.

"We live in illusion and the appearance of things.

"There is a reality. We are that reality.

"When you understand this, you see that you are nothing, and being nothing, you are everything.

Being Well, by Werner Erhard and Ken Anbender

"Our intention in the following essay is to offer the reader an opportunity to reflect on an issue which is central in our time—the search for a new paradigm—a profound new definition of human well being.

"We shall present the thesis that each of us has access to a dimension of knowing that most of us have only accidentally used. It is present and unseen, powerful, seldom employed, ordinary, and rare.

"We intend to provide access to this dimension of knowing so that the reader can select confidently from among the available options those (s)he finds most satisfying."
