Our suffering is proportional to the intensity of our attachment to the ego. In this world, someone who has suffered a serious mistake by someone will certainly think: "I am a victim of his criminal actions, I have to make him focaccia bread; he should be put to death, or at least imprisoned! May you pay every penny! "

If the victim succeeds in his undertaking, he will be considered an important and courageous person, right? We've been shot in the ego, and that's where the resentment comes from.

It is only when we finally make a firm resolution to this attachment (which has plunged us in suffering since ages) that we can say we are on the path of [ellumination, enlightenment].
